01Who is responsible
Continental Apex Company LLC is responsible for deciding how the personal data described in this notice is used. Where data protection law uses that term, we act as the controller.
You can contact us at contact@continentalapex.com or write to 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.
Independent specialists may be responsible for their own processing under their engagement terms and privacy notices. Where we process personal data solely on a business client's instructions, the relevant processing responsibilities are addressed in the applicable agreement.
02The enquiry composer stays in your browser
The website's enquiry composer helps you prepare a business email. The information you enter, such as your optional name and company, selected service and project brief, stays in the page while you prepare the draft. The composer does not submit those fields to our web server or inbox, and does not save them in cookies or local storage.
Choosing Open email app passes the draft to your selected email application. It does not send the message. You review and send it using your own email account. We receive your enquiry only when you send an email to us.
Choosing Copy enquiry copies the draft to your device's clipboard. Your browser, device and email provider may apply their own autofill, draft, history or clipboard settings. These are separate from the website's storage.
03Information we process
When you email us, we receive your sender address, any name or company details, the message and any other information you choose to send. Subsequent correspondence may include your role, project requirements and agreed business arrangements.
For a prospective or active engagement, we may obtain relevant business contact, representative and ownership information from you, your organisation, an introducing party, independent specialists, company registers or other lawful public sources. We use information appropriate to the project and the checks described in our AML & Sanctions Policy.
Hostinger provides the website hosting. Delivering and protecting the website involves technical data such as IP addresses, requested pages, access times, browser information and connection or security logs. The notice preference stored in your browser is described in our Cookie Policy.
This website has no customer accounts, online payment facility or document-upload feature. We do not use website analytics, advertising pixels or behavioural advertising trackers.
04Why we use information
We use correspondence and business contact details to understand and respond to enquiries, assess whether we can assist, arrange engagements, coordinate agreed work and maintain business records.
We use relevant technical and business information to operate and secure the website, prevent misuse, perform proportionate counterparty checks, comply with applicable obligations and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where applicable data protection law requires a legal basis, our ordinary business correspondence, project contact management, security and proportionate risk checks rely on our legitimate interests in running a lawful, secure business, subject to the rights of the people concerned. If you personally enter a contract with us, processing necessary for that contract or for steps you request before it may instead rely on that basis.
We rely on a legal obligation where the obligation qualifies as a basis under the applicable data protection law. Where consent is required for a specific activity, we ask for it separately and you can withdraw it. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
05Who may receive information
Access is limited to people and providers who need information for the relevant purpose. These may include authorised personnel, Hostinger, providers supporting our business email or IT, professional advisers and independent specialists involved in a proposed or agreed engagement.
We share project information with independent specialists only where needed for the relevant introduction, assessment or agreed work, with appropriate instructions or safeguards. Their role and any separate engagement are explained as part of arranging the work.
Information may also be disclosed where required or lawfully justified for a legal process, an applicable obligation, the protection of rights or the prevention of unlawful activity. We do not sell personal data or share it for behavioural advertising.
06International processing
Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our hosting, email or other service providers and relevant independent specialists operate. Those countries may have different data protection rules.
Where a transfer is restricted by applicable data protection law, we arrange it using a permitted transfer mechanism and any additional safeguards required for the circumstances. These may include an applicable adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.
07How long we keep information
Routine enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful exchange, then deleted or anonymised unless a specific legal obligation, unresolved issue or legal claim justifies longer retention.
For active and completed projects, we retain relevant records for the duration needed to perform the engagement and satisfy applicable contractual, accounting, tax, compliance and legal-claim requirements. We take account of the type of record, the relevant obligation and any applicable limitation period, and restrict records no longer needed for day-to-day work.
Technical logs are retained according to the hosting and security settings used for website operation, troubleshooting and incident investigation. Relevant incident records may be kept longer where needed to resolve the incident or meet a legal requirement. The browser notice preference is treated as valid for 180 days, as explained in the Cookie Policy.
08Your choices and rights
You decide whether to email us and what to include. We need a reply address and enough context to handle an enquiry; optional details are not required. If information necessary for a particular engagement or lawful check is unavailable, we may be unable to proceed.
Depending on the law applicable to you and the processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of your data, restrict its use, object to processing or withdraw consent. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in the applicable law. We do not make solely automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Send a privacy request to contact@continentalapex.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify the request and will respond within the period required by the applicable law. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority where that right applies.
09Security and sensitive information
We limit collection and access to information needed for the relevant purpose and use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it.
Please keep initial enquiries brief. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, identity documents or sensitive personal information in the enquiry composer or an unsolicited email. If further documentation is needed, we will agree its purpose and an appropriate channel before requesting it.
10Changes to this notice
We update this notice when our data handling changes. The date above identifies the current version. Where applicable law requires a separate notice of a material change, we will provide it.
